This Privacy Policy explains how amrkart (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit amrkart.com or buy from us.   • Details you give us: name, mobile number, email address, billing and shipping address, and GST details if you choose to provide them.
  • Order details: products bought, order amount, order history, and messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
  • Payment details: payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV or net banking password.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookies (see section 5).

2. How we use your information

  • To process, ship and deliver your orders, and to send order and delivery updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
  • To handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
  • To answer your questions and give customer support.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
  • To improve our website and products.
  • To send offers and updates, only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:

  • Payment partner (Razorpay) – to process payments and refunds.
  • Courier and logistics partners – your name, phone number and address, to deliver your order.
  • Service providers – website hosting, email and analytics services that help us run the store.
  • Government or legal authorities – when required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to complete orders, handle warranty claims, and meet legal and tax requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep items in your cart, keep you signed in, and understand how visitors use our site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the store (such as the cart and checkout) may not work without them.

6. Data security

Our website uses SSL encryption (https). Payments are handled on Razorpay’s secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems. We limit access to your data to people who need it to serve you. No method of transfer over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
